A series of artefacts inhabits the rooms of an imaginary exhibition entitled The Weight of Air — Essays on Power.
Artefact 01: Teddy XVI
The world’s most expensive guillotine. Covered in jewels and precious stones and executed with the delicacy of fine jewellery.Perhaps a collaboration with Cartier, Swarovski or Bulgari.
Or simply a distorted mirror through which to look at reality.
Artefact 02: Le Green Château
Use it, discard it, jump on it.A soft and monumental structure rising like an inflated promise of sustainability and luxury.
Artefact 03: Nana No
A bed carved entirely from marble.It promises rest but delivers weight.Hard. Immovable. Definitive.
In societies where rest and relaxation have become products, Nana No proposes an anti-lullaby: transforming the intimate gesture of sleeping into an act of resistance.
